WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our Mission

We believe our mission is to make disciples and to impact our community and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Below is a summary of the doctrinal statement of All Nations concerning God, His Word and His purpose for humanity.

What We Believe

The Bible
The Bible is God’s Word. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any error.

Matthew 5:18; Matthew 24:35; John 17:17; II Timothy 1:13; II Timothy 3:15-17; II Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 19:7-13; 119:105,160 & 12:6; Proverbs 30:5

God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and present everywhere at all time. He is holy, just and righteous., merciful and kind. He is love and Father to all who trust in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Genesis 1:1,26,27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Psalm 139:1-12; Psalm 136; Isaiah 6:1-7; Matthew 28:19; I Peter 1:2; II Corinthians 13:14; I John 4:8:14-16

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father and The Spirit. He has eternally existed. Jesus was born from a virgin and lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5 & 14:10-30; Colossians 1:15-20, 2:9; Hebrews 1:1-3, 2:18, 4:14-15; I Corinthians 15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 1:3-4; I Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13; Revelation 17:14, 19:11-16

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives a spiritual gift(s) to every believer after salvation. We seek to live under His control daily.
John 14:16-17, John 16:7-13; Romans 8:9; I Corinthians 2:12; II Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13 & 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; I Corinthians 2:12& 3:16; Ephesians 1:13-14;; Galatians 5:22-25; Ephesians 5:18

Man

Man is made in the image of God, to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” This attitude separates us from God.
Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2

Eternity

The man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God, through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.
John 3:16 & 5:24; I John 2:25 & 5:11-13; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 6:23 & 8:1; Revelation 20-22

Salvation

Salvation is by God’s grace, accepted by faith alone in Jesus Christ. Humanity can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works.

Ephesians 1:13 & 2:8-9; John 1:12, 3:16 & 14:6; Titus 3:5; Galatians3:26; Romans 5:1, 6:23, 8:1, 38 & 39.

Baptism

Christian baptism is the immersion of the believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Baptist symbolizes the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life. It is a testimony to his/her faith in the final resurrection of the dead. It is a church ordinance, and therefore a prerequisite to the privileges of church membership and to the Lord’s Supper.
Matthew 28:20; Colossians 2:12; Romans 6:4
